A good diet won't do it alone. Get Up & MOVE!
Growing up, I never played sports. I engaged in the typical childhood activities of tag, jump rope, and bike-riding, but nothing that required wearing a uniform or heading off to practice. Then in senior year of high school, during one of my first weight loss attempts, I joined a gym and over the next few years I became a fairly dedicated member, committing to four to five workouts a week. However, as college became more stressful, I eventually fell out of my routine, and since then I haven't been able to get back into it. In fact, I've actually tried my best to avoid exercise, turning my weight loss focus towards better eating habits alone - #ihateworkingout. BUT; this time is different. Not only do I want to shed the unwanted pounds, but I also want to start building a foundation for a truly healthy lifestyle. And that means: exercise.
