So, I revamped my nutrition plan yesterday - did you really think this post wasn't going to happen too!? As I mentioned during my last weigh-in post, I've been toying with the idea to change up my fitness plan ... again. Essentially, instead of moving straight on to Insanity Max 30 and P90X3 after we finish Gamma, I want us to repeat the entire program of T25, for a couple reasons:
PLUS - I'm used to the workouts, I'm used to the schedule, I'm used to the routine. And at this point, I do feel like there are still improvements I can make, and improvements we both can make for that matter - in terms of the moves, and the form used in them. I want us to NAIL every single workout in T25 before we move on - and I really think it will only take one more round to do it.
And so, here is the next phase of my plan: ROUND TWO of T25:
- There have been a lot of times during Beta when we'll be doing a move fairly similar to a move from Alpha, and I think to myself, "I wonder how well I would do this move at the intensity level it's under in Alpha." And I know that when we get into Gamma, the same thoughts are going to apply - not just for Alpha workouts, but for Beta workouts as well. I really want to go back and see just how far I've come, in terms of my fitness. I'm really confident that my endurance and stamina have gotten better, but the only real way to know that for sure is to put it to the test!
- Insanity Max 30 and P90X3 are higher intensity programs, especially with Insanity Max 30 being a completely cardio-based program. There are many times while doing T25 when I'm still feeling like I'm struggling to keep up, and I don't want to move onto a higher intensity program until I'm ready. I really believe doing a second round will be the perfect conditioning to prepare my body for the higher demands of Insanity Max 30 especially; I really just want to make sure I'm ready.

And so, here is the next phase of my plan: ROUND TWO of T25:
In addition to adding in the second round of T25, I'm also going to be expanding my fitness plan by adding in some gym time. As stated above, we will be starting round two of T25 on Monday, April 13 - IRONICALLY the same day the gym in our apartment building reopens after updating their equipment (even though their machines were only about 5-7 years old MAX). If that's not a sign, I don't know what is! Gian and I are going to start doing T25 in the morning before he heads off to work, and since I start work almost two hours later than him, I'll have plenty of time to kill ... in the gym. I won't be doing anything crazy - I plan to walk on an incline for 30 minutes to an hour (with an hour being the goal) and maybe doing some light weight training. I haven't gotten all the kinks worked out just yet, but expect an amendment to this new plan soon.
The aftermath of the second round of T25 will remain the same, with us moving on to Insanity Max 30 and P90X3 - but I'm going to hold off on redoing the dates on their schedules and re-posting them until it gets a bit closer. Who knows what other changes I'll come up with, hahaa.
No but really, I'm pretty sure this will be the last change. The way it's laid out now, I'm set for the year:
- January 5 through April 12 = T25, Round 1
- April 13 through July 19 = T25, Round 2
- July 20 through September 13 = Insanity Max 30
- September 14 through December 13 = P90X3
Voila! Pretty cool if you ask me. Hopefully by completing all of these programs I'll be well on my way to getting closer to my goal by New Year's Eve. Based on my slow weight loss thus far, I'm not positive if I'll reach my goal by New Year's Eve, as I originally hoped for, but hopefully I'll be close at least!
